Obtaining a protein from DNA requires 2 steps: transcription (DNA to rna) and translation (RNA to protein).

Transcription:

Translation:

As we can see in the first image, the polymerase reads the DNA from 3' to 5' to obtain a 5' to 3' RNA, therefore the RNA of 3’ CCC GAT CGT AGG AGT - 5’ would be: 5' GGG CUA GCA UCC UCA 3'

Then the translation takes place, and it goes from 5' to 3', therefore using the genetic code the peptide obtained would be: Gly-Leu-Ala-Ser-Ser

using the abbreviations the word would be: GLASS
