Hi,
First we will use PEMDAS.
4 x 12 - (5-2) + 3 - 2^2
4 x 12 - (3) + 3 - 2^2
4 x 12 - (3) + 3 - 4
48- 3 + 3 -4
45 + 3 - 4
48- 4
44
The answer would be 44, hoped this helped
