The slope of this line is 2. The equation would be y = 2x + 1

You can find the slope by doing rise/run. For example, look at (0, 1) then move to the next point which is at (1, 3). You moved up 2 and to the right once (2/1) which simplifies to 2.

Or you can do: y2 - y1/x2 - x1 = slope

Choose two points from the graph:

(x1, y1): (0, 1) (x2, y2): (1, 3)

Substitute into the equation:

3 - 1/1 - 0 = slope

Solve:

2/1 = slope

Simplify:

Slope = 2
