STEPS:

1) Use x as a variable.

2) since they are complementary angles:
1x + 5x = 90

3) Solve for x:
6x = 90
x = 15

4) Substitute into "1x" and "5x" to find the measures of the two angles.

* 1x
1(15)
15

* 5x
5(15)
75

So the measures of the angles you're looking for are: 15 degrees and 75 degrees

ratio 1:5....added = 6
complimentary angles, when added, = 90 degrees

1/6(90) = 90/6 = 15
5/6(90) = 450/6 = 75

so ur 2 angles are : 15 and 75
