Why was the Battle of Gettysburg considered the beginning of the end for the Confederacy?

1. The Confederacy could not handle fighting in the colder temperatures of the North, so all fighting had to stay in the South.

2. The Confederates suffered a huge loss of life and they lost hope that they would gain the support of foreign countries.

3. The Confederates had gained the support of England, but had lost too many weapons.

4. The North suffered mass casualties but gained the support of France.

The answer would be B, back then the battle of Gettysburg was the one of the big mistakes that General Lee made throughout the war, basically after the battle it was known by everyone that the south was going to loose the war
