A parallel connection of several lamps in a home allows you to control each lamp independently with switches. How is this possible?

It is only possible to control them independently if the switches are in series with each lamp that is in parallel.  That is, each parallel leg of the circuit contains a switch and a lamp in series.

Answer: Parallel circuit connection have the same voltage connected across each of the component, but different current flowing in them.

Explanation: Each of the lamp is connected in such a way to allow at least each of their switches to be circuited from one another.
