Please Help! 20 points! 2. During a sale at a clothing store, shirts are two-fifths their usual price, pants are one-third their usual price, and accessories are three-fourths their usual price.

(a) Padma bought the following items. What is the sale price of each item as a fraction or a whole number? Show your work.

A) $15 * 2/5 = $6
$40 * 1/3 = 13 1/3
$10 * 3/4 = 7 1/2

B) $6, 13.33333, $7.5

C) $6.00, $13.33, $7.50

Answer:

(I took the same TGA in k12 and got a 100% so i know the answers)

For question 1

A. ( ½ = 9/2) 9/2 x 13 = 117/2

B. 13 ( 4 + ½)

(13x4) + (13x1/2)

\ /

52 + 6.5 = 58.5

For question 2

A. 15 x 2/5 = $6.00

B. 40 x 1/3 = $13.33

10 x 3/4 = 30/4 or $7.50

C. 6 + 13.33 + 7.50 = 26.83

For question 3

A. Juan – increase by 7%

Rhia – increase by 27%

Max - decrease by 10%

B. Juan did not get a bonus because although he sold more than $355 his increase was less than 10%

Rhia did not get a bonus because although her increase was more than 10% she did not sell more than $355

Max did not get a bonus because he did not have an increase he had a decrease
