Final answer:

The task involves writing a poem with specific structural and literary elements including a defined form (e.g., sonnet, free verse), a poetic device like rhyme or repetition, and figurative language such as metaphor or simile, all interwoven to create an impactful meaning and effect.

Step-by-step explanation:

The subject of this question involves composing a poem that incorporates specific literary elements and follows certain structural guidelines. The student's assignment is to create a poem using a chosen form such as a sonnet, free verse, lyric, or narrative. Moreover, they are to include at least one poetic device such as first-person point of view, rhyme, repetition, or meter. Furthermore, the poem should feature two or more instances of figurative language like a metaphor, simile, personification, alliteration, hyperbole, or allusion. Understanding the intersection of these elements, from rhyme and rhythm to metaphor and personification, is crucial for creating a cohesive and engaging poem.

A crucial aspect of analyzing poetry includes word choice and the structure of lines and stanzas, which are pivotal for the meaning and feeling a poem conveys. Sound elements like meter, rhythm, and rhyme, along with figurative language, contribute significantly to the effect of the poem. A sonnet is a classic example of a form where the combination of these elements comes into play, featuring a specific meter, rhyme scheme, and a volta that signifies a change in the narrative or emotion.

Why not look for examples on the Internet and try to do it on your own? Still, I know how hard it is to come up with something on your own when you are writers blocked.

I think this would be repetition:

I remember:

I remember the day I meet you
You were beautiful, I admit
I remember the times you caressed me
You meant everything to me

I remember you today
You will always be in my heart
I remember you always
You will never leave my memories

This would be using simile and metaphor:

Breakup

Breakup is a terrible feeling
It's like a burning fire which crumbles your heart into ashes
It's like a black hole you are being consumed into
Breakup is a terrible though

Breakup is a terrible enemy
It's like a war you are to face
It's a heavy rock you are to carry
Break is a terrible thing

These are my original poems using my own words. I hope this helped!!! :)
