A multivitamin tablet contains 14.5mg of calcium. How much calcium does a bottle of 30 tablets contain? Write your answer in grams.

you would  multiply 14.5 x 30 tablets and you would get the answer of 435mg

STEPS:

1) Find the answer in mg. Do this by multiplying 14.5 by 30:
14.5 x 30 = 435
* So, in mg, the answer would be 435 mg.There would be 435 mg of calcium in that bottle..

2) BUT, since you want the answer in grams (g), convert 435 mg into grams by dividing by 1000.
435 / 1000 = 0.435

So your answer is 0.435 grams.
