Internal feelings are his emotions and feelings: he feels angry about his father’s death, the feelings about his mother marries the man who Hamlet believes have killed his father.

The external conflicts Hamlet experiences are a direct result of the conflict he feels within himself. Examples for external conflicts is the conflict between Hamlet and Claudius (Hamlet believes Claudius has taken everything from him).

1) In order to classify the events from hamlet according to the type of conflict they depict, you have to know the difference between external and internal conflicts. External is when a character deals with some external power (society, environment) while internal conflict is when a character has to deal with his/her own thoughts, feelings and this conflict takes place inside character's head.

2) External conflict:
-tensions between Hamlet and Claudius (conflict with another character)
-Hamlet's duel with Laertes (the same)
Internal:
-Hamlet's contemplation of suicide (internal fight)
-Hamlet's frustration with his inability to act. (overwhelmed by own thoughts)
