In vaccum-packed deli meat there is no oxygen.
Anaerobic bacteria does not require oxygen for growth.
Facultative bacteria can growth by aerobic respiration if oxygen is present, but can switch to anaerobic respiration if oxygen is absent. Some examples are: Escherichia coli, Salmonella.
