Step 1: solve for y.
Step 2: replace y with f(x) to write in function notation.

3x + 2y = 6
2y=-3x+6
y=-(3/2)x +3
f(x)=-(3/2)x +3

4x+3y=12
3y=-4x+12
y=-(4/3)x + 4
f(x)=-(4/3)x + 4
