How did the british government respond to the colonial concerns expressed during the Boston tea party?

After the Sons and Daughters of Liberty dumped three ships worth of tea into the Boston Harbor, the Intolerable Acts were created by the British Parliament in 1774. I hope this helps- and if you need to be more specific in your answer there 5 Intolerable Acts passed. Hope this helps:)
