Answer:

The solutions of the quadratic equation
49x^(2) =9 are:

x_(1) = (3)/(7), x_(2) = (-3)/(7)

Explanation:

  1. Divide both sides by 49,
    (49x^(2) )/(49) = (9)/(49)
  2. Simplify
    x^(2) = (9)/(49)
  3. For
    x^(2) = f(b) the solutions are
    x = √(f(b)) , -√(f(b))
  4. So
    x_(1) = (√(9))/(√(49)), x_(2) = -(√(9))/(√(49))
  5. The solutions are:
    x_(1) = (3)/(7), x_(2) = -(3)/(7)
