just plug in what x equals, as they tell you.
f(x) = 2x² + 3 f(3)
f(3) = 2(3²) + 3
f(3) = 2(9) + 3
f(3) = 18 + 3
f(3) = 21
c. 21 is your answer
hope this helps, God bless!
