Multiply both sides by (m) and you get (mkx-mbf=fy)
Then divide both sides by (f) and you get ((mkx-mbf)/(f)) = y

So you need to isolate y:
First you multiply m on both sides:
m(Kx - bf) = fy
Then, you divide f on both sides:
= y
