a(n) = a*(r)^(n-1)
a(n) = 3*(-4)^(n-1) ... plug in the given first term and common ratio
a(6) = 3(-4)^(6-1) ... plug in n = 6
a(6) = 3(-4)^5
a(6) = 3(-1024)
a(6) = -3072

Answer: -3072
