Let x liters of water is lost in a month.

2.5ₓ10⁻⁴ liters of water is lost in = 1 minute

∴ x liters of water will be lost in = 3×10⁵ minutes.
∴ x = 2.5×10⁻⁴ × 3×10⁵ = 75
∴ x = 7.5 × 10¹
