percent change = (new number - old number)/(old number) * 100

percent change = (54 - 48)/(48) * 100 = 6/48 * 100 = 0.125 * 100 = 12.5%

Hello!

You must use the percentage increase formula to solve this. The formula is:

[(Old Value - New Value / Old Value × 100]

Now use that formula to solve this:

48 - 54 / 48 × 100 = 12.5

The correct answer is J 12.5%.
