I believe the answer is Arithmetic because it is just a multiplication sequence. But it has been a while since I have done this. Hope I was some help!

From 2 to 4, we add 2
From 4 to 6, we add 2
So far it seems arithmetic
However, from 6 to 12, we aren't adding 2 anymore. So it's not arithmetic.
It's not geometric either because we've been adding two to those first two terms
Answer: Neither (not arithmetic; not geometric)
