Based on our involvement in the Vietnam War, how do you think other countries around the world who weren't already our allies might have viewed us?

Other countries probably thought we were putting our noses where it didn't belong and viewed us as stupid for starting a war for the simple reason that we didn't want Vietnam to become a communist country.
