Answer: Malia's solution is incorrect. Instead of subtracting 6 from both sides, you should divide by 6. The equation will have 1 solution, where x = 8.

Divide both sides of the equation by 6.

6x = 48\\\\(6x)/(6) = (48)/(6)\\\\x = 8

It’s incorrect because she subtracted 6 and did not divide it step one being 6x=48 step two should’ve been x=48/6 yep three should’ve been x=8

This equation will only have one solution
