What is the solution to 2x-3y=-9

You need to simplify the left side in order to isolate the x and the ỿ :

2x -3ỿ = -9
÷2 ÷2

x -3ỿ = -4,5
÷-3 ÷-3

x + ỿ = 1,5


You do the exact same thing as the first one, except with different numbers :

3x + ỿ = -8
÷3 ÷3

x + ỿ = -2,6 periodic
