I know this is old but for future people KX equals 14 m

Answer: KX = 14 m.


Explanation: We are given a triangle ΔJKL with medians KN,

JM and LP.

Definition : The median is the segment that connects a vertex of a triangle to a midpoint on one of the triangle's sides.

Note: The medians of a triangle cut each other in the ratio 2:1.

Therefore, for median KN, the ratio of KX and XN would be 2:1. That is

KX/XN = 2/1.

We are given KN = 21.

21 could be divided into two parts 14+7.

We can see 14 and 7 are in ratio 2:1.

Therefore, KX = 14m and XN = 7m.

So, KX = 14 m.
