a circular path is 3 feet wide and has an inner diameter of 125 feet. How much further is it around the outer edge of the path than the inner edge if you walk completely around the path? use 3.14 for pi.

C=2pi(r)
Circumference of inner circle would be C= 2(3.14)(62.5) ---> 62.5 is the radius/half the diameter given.
C1=392.5 ----> for inner circle

For outer circle, C=2(3.14)(64) ---> radius of outer circle can be found by adding the 3 feet width of the path to the inner circle diameter because that is how much wider the outer circle is, then divide by 2 for the radius
C2=401.92 ---> for outer circle
Subtract C2-C1= 9.42 feet more
