I'm not sure what D says but if it is 196000 cm then that is the answer.

Answer:

Option D 196000 cm is the answer.

Explanation:

By the given formula we have to calculate the distance h a body will move in free fall.

h=(1)/(2)gt^(2)

Here h = height, covered in t seconds

g = 980 cm / second

and t = 20 seconds

So by putting these values in the formula

h =
(1)/(2) (980) (20)²

=
(1)/(2) × 400 × 980

= 200 × 980

= 196000 cm

Option D 196000 cm is the answer.
