The current in a coil changes from 3.60 a to 1.80 a in the same direction in 0.490 s. if the average emf induced in the coil is 16.0 mv, what is the inductance of the coil?

According to Faraday's law,

emf across inductor = L
(dI)/(dt)
0.016 = L
(3.6-1.8)/(0.49) = 3.673
Therefore, L = 0.016/3.673 = 4.35×10⁻³ Henry
