Answer:

Erickson speaks of faith, will and intention as the values of multiple periods of life. He gave an eight-stage features of individual growth through infancy until death. He stated that a confrontation characterises each period of development and if this disagreement is settled effectively, the person will evolve as a virtuous person. The 'confidence vs. mistrust' is regarded as his first period in life.

The increasing person creates schemes about the capabilities he has after the effective accomplishment of each phase of life. If the substantial others take charge of the phases of life quite well, so the principles of that phase are established in him.
