Redress may apply either to the action of producing right an improper position or the relief sought or obtained for a wrong grieved: the restoration of objections. The freedom to petition the legislature for a remedy of complaints is known as Right to redress or solicit the support of, one's government, without the anxiety of trial or retaliation, confirmed by the Amendment to the United States Constitution (1791).
