Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 side width + 2 side lenght

Replacing with the values given:

P = 2 (4.8n+7.5p)+2(3.9n-4.5p)

Appliyng distributive property:

P = 2(4.8n)+ 2(7.5p)+2(3.9n)-2(4.5p)

P = 9.6n+15p+7.8n-9p

Adding alike terms:

P = 9.6n+7.8n+15p-9p

P = 17.4n+6p

P = 6p+17.4n

Correct option:

6p+17.4n
