You cannot do an art critique on your own art?

While you can critique your own art it is typically not as valid as having a more experienced eye go over your art with you and give comments on ways to either improve or things you’ve already done well.

You are both your own worst and best critique. Because you have spent the most time with it you are likely to pick out everything you dislike or that you’ve “done wrong” therefore making you your harshest critic. Thus proving your need for a second opinion.

with my research my final thought would be yes because i searched on google your question and a lot of things came up on how you actually could do an art critique on your own art, so my thought would be yes.
