theres a formula for that, y2-y1/x2-x1 and thats your slope

Well the best way is to plug into the slope equation

m = (rise)/(run) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
Where (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) are ordered pairs on the xy plane.
