Well for me that has always been a hard word, what i do is write the words that i find challenging on index cards and practice them, you could also remember that the "E" separates the words "Math" and Matics"

The answer is:
Pronounce each syllable of the word as you spell it. But if you keep saying math (a) matics start saying (math-ee-mat-ics) The (ee) will help you to pronounce it.
