Language can lead to revolution because language is the method employed to convey ideas, and ideas can lead to enormous social changes. A common phenomenon is the fact that people do not know what makes them angry or unhappy until they are able to name it. Once it receives a name, then it is easier to persuade others of joining the cause. This can also occur with positive ideals that inspire people to ask for change. An example of this are the ideals of the French revolution: liberté, égalité, fraternité, which provided a very powerful language that inspired revolutions all over the world.
