Write a proportion
3 cups of milk for every 4 cups of flour
one cup of milk for every ? amount of flour
3/4 = 1/x
cross multiply
3x = 4
divide both sides by 3
x = 4/3
She will need to use 4/3 cups of flour
or 1 1/3 cups of flour
Hope this helps :)
