Split the shape into two shapes
A square
Area = L x H = 20 x 21 = 240 cm2
A right angle triangle
Area of right angle triangle = L x H divided by 2
20 x 21 = 240 divided by 2 = 120 cm2
Add both areas
240 + 120 = 360 cm2
