What is the answer 5x=70+(x-10)

First, combine like terms.

5x= 70+(x-10)

5x= 60+x

Subtract x from both sides.

4x= 60

Divide 4 into both sides.

x= 15

5x = 70 + (x - 10)
5x = 70 + x - 10
5x = x + 60
5x - x = 60
4x = 60

x = 15
