y=5x-1


-15x-3y=3

LEts solve for x and y, Substitute 5x-1 for y in second equation


-15x-3y=3


-15x-3(5x-1)=3


-15x-15x+3=3

Combine like terms


-30x+3=3

Subtract 3 on both sides


-30x=0

Divide both sides by -30


x=0

Now plug in 0 for x in first equation


y=5x-1


y=5(0)-1=-1

So one solution (0,-1)
