write the equation of a line in point slope form through (-3,2) and parallel to a line with a slope of 5

parallel lines have the same slope, so the slope is 5
in point=slope form: (y-2)=5[(x-(-3)]
y-2=5(x+3)

in slope intercept form: y=5x+17
in standard form: 5x-y=-17
