Hypothesis is best defined as a "prediction" to what's going to happen to your experiment. Hypothesis is another way of saying "educational guess" for example. You are doing a science experiment to determine how far a paper air plane can fly you will do a hypothesis saying "I think" or "I predict that the experiment is...." Once you have your hypothesis then you can move on to your experiment to determine if your hypothesis is correct if so then move to analyze results (meaning graphing or anything) if your hypothesis isn't correct then redo your hypothesis and your experiment. Once you are done with your hypothesis and your experiment and your results the last thing you need to do is conclusion. Just remember that hypothesis is based off of a guess.
Hope this helped :)

A hypothesis is classified as an ¨If, Then¨ statement. Example: If I punch a brick, then it will hurt.
