According to newton's 2nd law,

F(net force)= mass x acceleration

(F = m x a)

For a constant net force the higher mass gives a lower acceleration and the opposite is true

Answer:

Acceleration would decrease

Step-by-step explanation:

According to Newton's second law of motion, acceleration (a) of a body ( having mass m) is directly proportional to the force (F) applied to it.

F = ma

For the same force applied, if the mass is increased, the acceleration would decrease.

For F = constant, if m increases, acceleration decreases to keep the force constant.
