Well the original price is 3.24 and lets divide that from 4.05
But first lets find the increase. 4.05-3.24 = 0.81
(0.81)/(3.24) = 0.25 = 25%
The percentage increase is 25%

Answer:

25% increase.

Explanation:

A gallon of milk increased from 3.24 to 4.05.

We have to calculate the percentage of increase. So first we find the increase.

4.05 - 3.24 = 0.81

To calculate the percentage, we divide 0.81 by 3.24 and multiply by 100.

=
(0.81)/(3.24) × 100

= 0.25 × 100 = 25%

The percentage of increase is 25%
