evolution !! it states that in a population- allele and genotype frequencies will remain still smooth and constant through generations as long as there are no evolutionary differences, like selection and genetic drift.

The Hardy-Weinberg principle is related to population genetics. The principle denotes the unchanging frequency of alleles and states that the amount of genetic variation in a population will remain constant from one generation to the next in the absence of disturbing factors. This principle is used to determine the factors which are influencing a population.
