What is the predicted result when the Milky Way and Andromeda collide?

A) The intense mass will form a black hole.
B) The two will converge into an irregular galaxy.

The correct answer is B. The two will converge into an irregular galaxy.

The collision which is between milky way and andromeda is termed as galactic collision which is being predicted to occur between the two galaxies at 400 billion years.

Milky Way contains earth and solar system. For every 110 kilometers per second is when Andromeda galaxy approaches the milky way galaxy which is being shown by blueshift.

Some galaxies like sgr dSph collided with milky way whereby they emerged into them while Andromeda collides with other galaxies in the past.
