To find the volume of a prism we should calculate the area of the base of the prism and multiply by the height.


\begin{gathered} \text{Area of the base} \\ (9yd)\cdot(7yd) \\ 63yd \end{gathered}

multiply by the height of the prism


\begin{gathered} (63yd)\cdot(5yd) \\ 315yd^3 \end{gathered}

the volume of the prism is 315 yd
