Complementary angles equal 90 degrees so

The measures of the two angles = 90

(4y +5) + (4y +8) = 90

4y + 4y = 8y and 5 + 8 = 13

90 - 13 = 77

8y = 77

77/8 = 9 5/8

y = 9 5/8

Now we can plug this into each measyre to find the answer

9 5/8 x 4 = 38.50

38.50 + 5 = 43.50

38.50 + 8 = 46.50

46.5 + 43.5 = 90

The first angle measures 43.5

The second angle measures 46.5

I hope this helps!
