You want this in slope-intercept form, which is : y=mx+b

Where m = slope, and b = y-intercept

To find the slope, pick two points on the line given to us :)

I have decided to pick the points : (0, -4) and (4, -3)

To solve for the slope, we use the slope equation, which is : m = y₂-y₁ / x₂-x₁

** In this case, y₂ = -3 ; y₁ = -4 ; x₂ = 4 ; x₁ = 0 **

Simply plug everything in :)

m = -3 - (-4) / 4 - 0

Simplify.

m = -3 + 4 / 4

Simplify.

m = 1/4

So, our slope is 1/4.

Now we need to find the y-intercept.

** Remember : The y-intercept is the point in which our given line passes (goes) through the y-axis **

So, please go look at our line. As you can see, our y-intercept is -4, as that is the point in which our line passes through the y-axis.

So, the slope is 1/4 & the y-intercept is -4.

Slope-intercept form : y = mx + b

Plug everything in.

y = 1/4x - 4 is your final answer.

~Hope I helped!~
