HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Noelquis’s bank statement shows a deduction of -$1.50 taken out of her account each week. How many weeks will it take before the total deduction is -$12?

To figure this out, all we have to do is some simple division. It goes like this:

-12/1.5 = amount of weeks

-12/1.5 = -8

The 8 comes out negative, but we can't have -8 weeks, can we?

It will be 8 weeks before the total deduction reaches -$12.
