A flute is on sale for $50 more than half of the regular price. if the sale price is $250, what is the regular price of the flute?

Firstly, we subtract the $50 from the sale price of $250.

250 - 50 = 200

After getting 200, all we need to do is multiply by two to get the other half of the regular price.

200 * 2 = 400

And there you have it. The regular price is $400.00.
