If a direct relationship exists between Variable A and Variable B, what would happen to Variable B if Variable A is increased? It will increase too. It will decrease. It will go up and down in a cycle. It will respond randomly.

If Variable A is increased, Variable B will increase too. In a direct relationship, the two variables move in the same direction - if one increases, the other does too, and vice versa. In an inverse relationship, the two variables move in opposite directions - if one increases, the other decreases.
